On Thursday, journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported Rangers’ Hamza Igamane has agreed personal terms with Lille. Later that day, RMC Sport stated the French club will soon send an offer to Russell Martin’s side.
At the weekend, the journalist explained the Ligue 1 side are in talks with Rangers for the 22-year-old.
Sacha Tavolieri has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide the latest on Lille’s pursuit of the Rangers player.
Lille have identified the striker as the main candidate to replace Jonathan David and have an agreement in place with him. They have to agree terms with the Scottish club to sign the Morocco international.
To do that, the journalist claims ‘talks are still underway’ between the two clubs. He isn’t clear about Rangers’ asking price but insists they should find an agreement with Lille for around €13-15m including bonuses.
Igamane left Moroccan side AS FAR for Rangers a year ago and starred in his first season at Ibrox. He scored 16 goals and registered three assists from 46 games, and his displays have certainly convinced Lille to bet on him.
