Aston Villa and AFC Bournemouth are in the picture to sign Flamengo’s Wesley França in the summer window.

That’s according to Flazoeiro, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on the developments around the right-back’s future.

He claims Aston Villa and Bournemouth ‘remain interested’ in the 21-year-old.

On Friday, we covered claims from Brazil which stated Liverpool are strongest in the race to sign Wesley. It was also reported his agents are in the UK to hold discussions with interested clubs.

It’s worth noting Flazoeiro was the first to report on their trip to England two days ago. He has now come up with a fresh update, where he mentions Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

The Brazil international’s agents, Sávio and Guilherme Siqueira, will meet some clubs in England. Flazoeiro doesn’t specify whether they have a meeting with Unai Emery’s side and the Cherries.

As well as English clubs, the representatives are also attentive of interest from Spain. The feeling is that a move to La Liga would suit Wesley better than the Premier League.

For now, Flazoeiro claims ‘everything is open’ and developments are expected.
