Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitiké will soon complete a move to Liverpool, according to RMC Sport.

The Premier League winners have already reached an agreement with the German club to buy the striker for €90m plus €5m bonuses. He has also agreed a contract until 2031 with the Reds.

On Monday, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg said Eintracht Frankfurt gave permission to the 23-year-old to travel to Liverpool to carry out transfer formalities.

RMC Sport now report the frontman will arrive in England on Tuesday morning to undergo medical examinations and then sign the contract with Liverpool. They add the Frenchman is expected to finish these later today.

On Sunday, the English champions travelled for their pre-season tour to Hong Kong and Japan. Arne Slot has taken 29 players with him for the trip, and RMC Sport claims Ekitiké will soon travel to join his new teammates in Asia.

This indicates Liverpool should make his arrival official soon.

Plettenberg took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim that the attacker will be earning up to €15m gross per year at Anfield.

Ekitiké scored 22 goals and registered 12 assists for Eintracht Frankfurt last season.
