Nottingham Forest’s negotiations for Ousmane Diomande have apparently included a heated row between the player’s agent and Evangelos Marinakis’ son.
That’s according to CNN Portugal, with insider outlet Leonino further detailing the information.
They report that Diomande’s representative had a “strong discussion” with the Nottingham Forest owner’s son during talks over the Sporting defender.

Ousmane Diomande’s proposed move had been progressing before suddenly running into serious trouble.
We covered on Thursday that negotiations had collapsed following what they described as a “major disagreement” between representatives of the two clubs. They didn’t provide further details about that disagreement.
There’s no explicit confirmation the argument was the disagreement behind the reported collapse. The timing, though, certainly makes the latest information interesting.
Diomande’s agent subsequently apologised to Nottingham Forest officials. According to the report, the apology was intended to calm tensions between the parties.
That suggests nobody on the player’s side wanted the argument to become an obstacle to the transfer.
The latest information also has Sporting and Nottingham Forest maintaining contact despite the recent problems, and reaching an agreement.
