Nottingham Forest’s Danilo has already been linked to Lyon and Real Betis this summer.

At the start of this month, UOL reported the Ligue 1 club are out of the race to sign the midfielder. They also stated Real Betis have made first contact to find out the terms for a potential loan transfer.

Earlier today, we covered claims from journalist Jorge Nicola that Nottingham Forest have asked Danilo’s representative to find a new club this summer.

A fresh report from UOL now states Nuno Espírito Santo are considering replacing Danilo with CF Monterrey’s Nelson Deossa.

It’s claimed Nottingham Forest are working on Danilo’s exit and if they are successful, it’ll create a space in their squad. The report states it’ll then allow the Premier League side to ‘move forward’ to sign the 25-year-old Colombian.

Deossa joined the Mexican club in January and played 29 games, managing seven goals and an assist. UOL states he’s managed to attract interest from Brazil and Portugal, but his desire is to leave Mexico for England.

There’s no mention whether Nottingham Forest will consider signing Deossa if they fail to offload Danilo.
