Three days ago, journalist Cristian Martin explained that Wolverhampton Wanderers have entered the battle to sign CA Talleres’ Ramón Sosa in the summer window.
On Sunday, the Paraguay international revealed that Daniel Campo is no longer his agent.
Journalist Christian Pérez has provided an update, relayed by El Nacional, which could bring the 24-year-old closer to Wolves. In fact, a potential move to Molineux ‘gains strength’.
Jorge Mendes has close ties with the Premier League side and is expected to become the winger’s new agent.
“It would not be unreasonable for Sosa to go to Wolverhampton with Jorge Mendes,” he said.
As well as Wolves, the player has been linked to Chelsea, Newcastle United and Everton so far.
Versus state Sosa parted ways with Campo so that Mendes can take care of his interests going forward.
They make it clear this hasn’t been confirmed yet, but if the super-agent were to manage the South American, he ‘could end up’ at Wolves. Talleres will request $20m [£15.6m] and this should be reasonable for Gary O’Neil’s side.
Earlier this month, Talleres president Andrés Fassi had revealed Sosa will certainly leave in the next window and it remains to be seen where he will end up next.
