On Tuesday, journalist Alfredo Pedulla reported Manchester United have held a fresh round of talks for Atalanta’s Ederson.
While the Red Devils are making renewed attempts for the Brazilian, TuttoAtalanta have presented a bit of a warning to Ruben Amorim’s side about their chase for the midfielder.
TuttoAtalanta have reported that Manchester United will have to ‘significantly improve’ their previous approach for Ederson, with it claimed they offered €42m some months ago.
The outlet go a step further and mention that negotiations between the two clubs will be anything but simple, even though the pair have been involved in deals for Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund in the past.
Atalanta have been described as a ‘tough nut to crack’. La Dea do not want to let the midfielder depart easily and see him as the centre of their squad.
As a result, the Red Devils will have to make a ‘truly irresistible’ approach to land Ederson in the summer. No figure is mentioned but Manchester United’s chase for the 25-year-old look complicated and the money may be better spent elsewhere this summer.
