Jhon Duran wants to return to the Premier League, with Everton, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and West Ham United all in the mix.

Sabah cover the striker today. The newspaper reports that there is every chance the Colombian will be leaving Fenerbahçe before deadline day.

A report yesterday from Türkiye stated that Everton, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and West Ham all had the striker on their radar. There are murmurings that he could leave Fenerbahçe, and they’d all be keen to sweep him up.

But that report stated the striker wasn’t keen on leaving the Turkish side at this point, although that appeared to be a financial stance. He’s currently on loan there from Al-Nassr. Now, the tone appears to have changed.

Sabah explain that Duran missed training this week to ‘facilitate transfer negotiations’. Reports first stated Duran was missing with an injury. It seems that’s not the case.

Instead, it’s all to do with a transfer. Al-Ittihad currently want him, in exchange for giving Fenerbahçe N’Golo Kante. The 22-year-old, though, is open to offers from Europe. In fact, he ‘wants to play in the Premier League’.

Hurriyet then back this up. They report that Duran’s agent told Fenerbahçe there were offers from Europe. Following this meeting, Fenerbahçe removed the striker from the squad for the clash with FCSB.

It appears that they are preparing for him to depart. Who has made offers, with Napoli also in the mix, isn’t made clear. And what the nature of those offers are, remains to be seen.

Fenerbahçe paid €20m to sign Duran on loan in the summer so will want compensation somewhere. Al-Nassr will also need to accept whatever terms clubs offer them as well.

It seems, though, Duran and his agents are hard at work. And if the striker does really want to return to the Premier League, then Everton, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and West Ham have all just been presented with a big opportunity.
