Valencia are preparing for a ‘good offer’ to arrive for defender Loïc Badé at some point in the near future and are already planning for how they will replace him.
That’s according to ABC Sevilla, who say the Spanish side are targeting a new centre-back to bolster their options and potentially replace the Frenchman.
Badé has been earning himself plenty of admirers around Europe over the last year or so and a report towards the end of September stated that Liverpool are ‘actively’ working to sign him.
Any such offer would be a blessing in disguise for the club, who desperately need a big sale to help the club’s coffers and balance the books. They’re happy to sell because of that and are already planning for they would replace him.
That’s led to a scouring of the free market, where they’re also looking for a new striker to solve their goalscoring problems this season.
Reports have already linked them to Alavés’ Abdel Abqar, although the newspaper insists that is more the player’s entourage looking to move their player around than anything serious from Sevilla.
Either way, Badé is expected to leave at some point and Liverpool’s apparent interest has been noted and Sevilla are expecting a bid to arrive from them, or someone else, sooner rather than later.
