Takvim claim Fulham are showing an interest in Fenerbahce defender Mauricio Isla as they look to strengthen their squad in January to boost their survival chances.
According to Takvim, Isla could be allowed to leave because Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal is set to use Nabil Dirar as his first choice right back for the second half of the season.
It’s claimed the Istanbul club are open to selling Isla if any suitable offers are made and the Chile international may also be tempted to play in the Premier League.
Fulham have also been linked with a move for Besiktas central defender Domagoj Vida as the English club look to bolster their defence in this transfer window.
The London club have conceded more goals than any other team in the Premier League this season and subsequently they want to address this.
Isla is 30 years of age and has made 13 appearances for Fenerbahce this season in the Turkish Super Lig. He’s under contract with the club until the end of next season.
