Valentin Barco joined Brighton from Boca Juniors earlier this year.

The left-back hasn’t become a regular at the club yet and didn’t feature for Brighton in their season opener against Everton.

An exit could be on the cards for the Argentine, who is looking for some regular game time to help his development.

TYC Sports in Argentina report that Brighton boss Fabian Hürzeler has given the ‘go-ahead’ for the defender’s loan move to another European club this summer.

The most interested club for the 20-year-old is Sevilla, who have made contact to bring the Argentine in on loan.

Brighton don’t want to give an option to buy. They know that Barco is a great footballing asset, but they don’t have a regular spot for him in the side. As a result, they would rather see him get regular action elsewhere.

The player is keen on continuing his development by playing regular first-team football and would be interested in an exit.
