Everton ‘have been interested’ in signing UD Almería’s Largie Ramazani in January, as per Monday’s AS.
Online, the same outlet provides more information about the Toffees and also the La Liga side’s stance on the winger in the winter market.
AS explain Everton are the latest club to have asked information about the 21-year-old.
Ramazani made one senior appearance for Manchester United during his three-year spell at Old Trafford. In need of more prominence, he left the Red Devils and joined the Spanish club for free in 2020.
The Belgium U21 international’s decision paid off as he has 16 goals and two assists from 76 matches since the start of the 2020/21 season. His displays have caught the Toffees’ attention, who have requested details about signing him.
Ramazani has a contract until 2025 and it includes a €40m release clause. Almería, as per the report, have referred this to Frank Lampard’s side.
The Belgian has seen his valuation increase in the past few years and it is currently set at €9m by Transfermarket. Despite this, the Spanish club have referred to Ramazani’s €40m clause when Everton asked.
This could simply be a negotiating tactic.
