Tottenham Hotspur have received encouragement to sign AS Monaco’s Vanderson this summer, according to Foot Mercato.
Last Tuesday, journalist Bruno Andrade said Spurs have opened talks with the Ligue 1 side for right-back, after cashing in from Emerson Royal’s sale to AC Milan. A day later, UOL said Tottenham are ‘preparing a bid’ to sign Vanderson.
Two days ago, Andrade came up with another report stating that Tottenham are preparing an offer worth around €32m for the defender.
The Brazil international has four years left on his deal, but Foot Mercato claim he could leave the club in this window.
With the north London club keen, Monaco ‘anticipate the planned departure’ of the 23-year-old. They have identified PSV Eindhoven’s Jordan Teze as the candidate to replace him.
It’s claimed the 24-year-old Netherlands international has already played his last game for the Eredivisie side. The report adds he’s expected to arrive in the next few hours, to carry out the medical examinations with Monaco.
Journalist Sébastien Denis covered this report. He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to add that Vanderson is in Tottenham’s sights and could leave Monaco in the coming days.
