Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca’s future, at least beyond this season, remains uncertain, as per today’s Diario de Sevilla.
The Whites allowed the Spaniard to join Real Betis on loan in the summer and he’s starred for them so far. Roca has scored four goals and registered two assists from 25 games this season.
Earlier this month, the Leeds owned player explained that he’s enjoying life under Manuel Pellegrini’s orders at the La Liga side.
The former Bayern Munich man has revealed his desire to continue at Real Betis after this season. He’s even instructed his agent to reach an agreement with Daniel Farke’s side.
The newspaper takes a look at those Real Betis players who have deals expiring in 2024, and this includes Roca.
As it stands, the ‘intention is for Roca to continue’ at Real Betis but there’s no clarity yet on his future.
Despite being a fundamental player under Pellegrini, it’s claimed the Leeds man is in the ‘list of unknown’.
Diario de Sevilla claim it has ‘not yet been decided’ with both his agent and the Championship side on what to do next with his future. His contract at Elland Road lasts until 2026.
