There’s a claim in the Swedish media that Elfsborg will not sanction a transfer for Michael Baidoo despite an offer being tabled by Plymouth Argyle.
The Ghanian midfielder has been linked with a move to the Championship club in the past week.
Fotboll Direkt have today reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Baidoo and they say he’s likely to be staying with the Swedish club. Plymouth have made an offer for the 25-year-old, which reportedly would be record transfer fee for the English side.
Earlier today we covered comments he made last night after Elfsborg’s victory over Molde, when he said he would be interested in speaking to Wayne Rooney over a possible move.
The Plymouth boss also confirmed in his press conference yesterday that they are interested in signing Baidoo.
