Two days ago, Marca reported Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri is willing to listen to offers after he was linked with a move to Newcastle United.

The striker finished the 2022/23 season with 18 goals and two assists from 48 games. His form seems to have pleased the Magpies, who have taken the first step try to sign him in the summer window.

That’s at least what Vamos Mi Sevilla FC are reporting and add that Sevilla ‘received a direct call’ from Newcastle to find out about the fee needed to sign the 26-year-old.

After qualifying for the Champions League, Newcastle reportedly have a budget of €300m to carry out signings in this window. The outlet states the Andalusian club are aware of this which is why they won’t let go of the Morocco international for less than €50m.

Reports of Newcastle interest in the player surfaced in England last weekend after which a report from Vamos Mi Sevilla FC said Sevilla will request his €70m release clause to be paid to sanction his sale.

Their latest report states Sevilla have now reduced the price by €20m, which would come as encouragement for Eddie Howe’s side in their pursuit of En-Nesyri.
