According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing interest in Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Jeremy Sarmiento.
The Super Lig champions are looking to bolster their squad ahead of next seasons Champions League group stages and the Brighton player looks to be an option.
Sporx today report Galatasaray are monitoring the situation with the youngster but face competition from Spain and Germany. With the uncertainty over the futures of Wilfried Zaha and Barış Alper Yılmaz, Cimbom could be in the market for a winger.
Zaha has been linked with a return to Crystal Palace this summer after his struggles with Gala at the back end of last season, whilst Yılmaz is being chased by a number of Premier League clubs following his performances at Euro 2024.
However, despite being in the Champions League, Galatasaray would have to do some convincing to do over a move to Istanbul. It’s reported the 22-year-old is only interested in moving to one of Europe’s top five leagues if he were to leave Brighton.
Sarmiento was loaned out to West Bromwich Albion and Ipswich Town last season. He’s contracted to the Seagulls until June 2027.
