Darío Osorio’s agent Pablo Lecler says Crystal Palace are helping him settle in quickly, after securing a move on deadline day.
The Premier League side signed the winger from FC Midtjylland on loan with an option to buy.
Lecler spoke to ADN Radio‘s Los Tenores de ADN on Friday to discuss his client’s move to Crystal Palace.

The Chile international has come up against some of his new Crystal Palace teammates while with the national team.
Pablo Lecler reveals this and the UEFA Conference League winners’ support is helping him adjust to the new surroundings.
“Darío is adapting well. At Crystal Palace, there are a couple of players he already knew, since he had faced them with the national team, so that makes things easier,” he said.
“Also, the club has people who give him a lot of support, which greatly helps the player’s adaptation.”
Midtjylland delayed Crystal Palace move
Darío Osorio moved to Europe when the Danish club signed him from Universidad de Chile in 2023.
Pablo Lecler now reveals he had several opportunities to change clubs last summer before FC Midtjylland blocked his exit.
“Last year, around this same time, we had several concrete offers, but Midtjylland preferred to keep Darío for another year because they wanted to enjoy him and also because the team had international competitions,” Lecler explained.
Two days ago, Sport Witness covered a report from Denmark explaining that Crystal Palace got ahead of competition to sign him. Several clubs from the Premier League and Saudi Arabia had shown interest in him.
The representative, who doesn’t reveal their details, confirms a few clubs dropped out while the player ruled out some clubs. He talks about it when discussing why Crystal Palace had to wait until deadline day.
“When selling a player, the owning club has to agree to the transaction, and often they wait until the final days of the transfer window to see what’s happening in terms of offers,” Lecler explained.
“We ruled out some options. Others were ruled out because there was no domino effect. When a club sells a player and goes after another to replace him.”
“In some leagues, there’s also the issue of non-EU slots. Since Darío doesn’t have a European passport, some possibilities were closed off to us.”
The overall fee can rise over €30m if the 22-year-old were to secure a permanent move to Selhurst Park.
