Middlesbrough are reportedly in advanced negotiations for the Lithuanian forward Fedor Cernych.
Cernych currently plays for Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland, where he has a contract until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has been playing on both wings, and can also do a job as a striker. He has 17 goals and 15 assists in 70 matches since joining the club in 2015.
Tutto Mercato Web doesn’t have any details on a Middlesbrough contract offer, but they seem to be confident an agreement between the clubs is pretty close.
Cernych is also the captain of the Lithuania national team, for whom he has 32 appearances and eight goals.
