Nottingham Forest’s Dan Ndoye has been the subject of late interest from abroad. Arnaud Kalimuendo could also be on his way out of the club.
Sport Witness have regularly covered how Italian sides have been monitoring the Switzerland international for a while now. Inter Milan, specifically, have been keen but haven’t made a formal approach.
While last season wasn’t great for the winger, he has started this season well. He scored for Nottingham Forest in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool at the weekend.
Now, attempts have been made to sign him and there could be another possible outgoing from the City Ground.

Journalist Lorenzo Canicchio reports a behind the scenes story on Roma’s interest in the Nottingham Forest player.
He reveals that the Giallorossi requested information about the attacker. Gian Piero Gasperini has been keen on another attacking signing who can play at wing-back. This has been the reason behind the push for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens too.
Despite the chance to potentially sell Ndoye, Nottingham Forest rejected Roma’s approach. They consider him to be untouchable.
The same can’t be said for Kalimuendo, who has also attracted interest from Italy.
Gianluigi Longari reports that Como have explored a move for the Frenchman. They made initial contact yesterday afternoon, with the player out of favour under Oliver Glasner.
Our take: Kalimuendo likelier to leave
Ndoye is looking like a key player for Nottingham Forest, evidenced by his usage this season. Losing him will be quite a blow and the club may not be ready for it immediately.
Kalimuendo would be more likely to leave. He has made one appearance off the bench in the Premier League. It is clear the club doesn’t have grand plans for him.
A move to Como could be a good one. He may not play every game but he will feature in the Champions League. Cesc Fabregas’ side will play a lot of fixtures and he will get his chance to make a mark.
