Dan Ndoye’s time at Nottingham Forest has been disappointing so far. The winger is in line for an early exit from the club.
Last summer, Sport Witness covered how the Midlands club beat Napoli to a move for the winger. They paid €40m, taking advantage of the Partenopei’s financial issues, but the deal hasn’t paid off.
Ndoye scored on his Nottingham Forest debut, assisting in his second Premier League game. Since then, he hasn’t contributed to a single goal, becoming a victim of the club’s instability throughout the campaign.
Attempts are ongoing to help him secure an exit, as Ndoye’s situation gets frustrating.
Agent trying to find solution
Calciomercato IT note that the Switzerland international’s last appearance in the Premier League came on the 12th April against Aston Villa. This is causing alarm in the player’s entourage, who are already attempting to find a new club for him.
While there has been interest from Italian clubs, those around the player want to explore other opportunities too. Another club in England could yet come forward for him and Nottingham Forest’s own plans could also change.
Vitor Pereira’s side are demanding a big fee. They are refusing a loan exit and would only accept a fee of €42m to let him leave.
That, in itself, is likely to hinder a return to Italy. Inter Milan and Roma have been previously interested but they would ideally prefer want a loan.
