Rangers manager Russell Martin could be without Hamza Igamane at Ibrox next season.
On June 12th, we covered claims from France which stated Lille are among several clubs in the mix to sign the striker.
The Ligue 1 side have decided to make advances to secure the Rangers player’s services, according to multiple claims.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report that the French club have identified the 22-year-old as the target to replace Jonathan David.
On Wednesday, Lille had a ‘decisive meeting’ with Igamane, where they agreed personal terms with him. Tavolieri adds Lille are in talks with Rangers to find an agreement.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna also took to X to report about the Ligue 1 club’s keen interest in the Morocco international.
He doesn’t mention the Rangers frontman agreeing personal terms, but states he had a positive meeting with Lille yesterday.
Aouna reports Lille have made a verbal offer to the Scottish club and an unnamed French club have also sent an offer to Rangers for Igamane. The journalist hasn’t mentioned the details of the offers sent to Russell Martin’s side.
Igamane managed 16 goals and three assists from 46 games for Rangers this season.
