Aksam report AS Roma are leading the race to sign Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca.

The Benfica owned player has been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent weeks, recent months, and recent years. It’s the never ending transfer story.

The Turkish newspaper claim Besiktas want to keep Talisca but it’s unlikely that they’ll pay the required €21m to redeem the player. The 24 year old has been on loan with the Turkish champions since 2016.

It’s reported clubs from the Premier League are showing an interest in Talisca, but Roma are more likely to sign the player if they secure Champions League football for next season.

Wolves in recent weeks have been linked with Talisca and last summer the Championship champions showed they can attract to top players to Molineux when they signed Ruben Neves from FC Porto.

However Wolves may face competition from West Ham United for the attacker.

Earlier this week we covered reports from the Turkish press that West Ham are monitoring the situation with Talisca and the Hammers have made an enquiry with Benfica.
