Arriving on loan from SCO Angers last season, Rayan Aït Nouri enjoyed a rather active first season at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The left-back featured fairly regularly, making 21 appearances in the Premier League, as well as scoring a goal and an assist, but his future remained somewhat of a mystery.
That, however, appears to have been cleared up by Mohamed Toubache-Ter, as the journalist took to Twitter to explain why matters have been delayed until now.
He stated that Wolves are simply currently late and ‘need to send a final signed document’.

Once that is done, Aït Nouri will officially be a Wolves player, and because of Covid, Angers have decided to sell him for €12m and 50% of a future fee.
That’s partly because the club’s board had given the defender ‘their word’ and ‘didn’t want to block him’, ensuring they didn’t betray the young player’s trust in the process.
A nice welcome gift for Bruno Lage, then.
