Wolverhampton Wanderers signed Saša Kalajdžić from VfB Stuttgart on August 31st and it was the same day Raúl Jiménez last made an appearance for the English club.

The Mexico international has been sidelined with an injury and is currently working with the national team to regain full fitness for the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Kalajdžić will miss most part of this season after suffering a serious injury on his Wolves debut against Southampton last month.

Jiménez and the Austrian’s setbacks saw the Premier League side sign Diego Costa on a free transfer on September 12th. The former Chelsea star has made four appearances this term but has yet to find the back of the net for his new club.

Hugo Bueno started his first match for Wolves in their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace earlier this week.

The latter impressed as he assisted Adama Traoré’s goal, and after dazzling against the Eagles, AS had a chat with Bueno, where he detailed how Costa’s arrival has brought changes at Wolves.

“Since Diego came, he brought a different atmosphere. He loves to joke with everyone, he is a very, very good guy who makes a good connection with everyone and hopefully he can help us on the pitch, as he has shown in the Premier League,” Bueno said.

Regarding Traoré, he explained: “And Adama is a very humble boy, a hard worker and he and I are the last to leave the training centre. He tries to help me with everything, and you can talk to him about anything, and he is a top colleague.”

“The virtue that I like most about him is that he can completely change a game because of his explosiveness, his speed. When he has the ball, you know he can create a scoring chance.”
