Yet to make an appearance for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season, it appears Prince Oniangué will not be around at Molineux Stadium for much longer.
According to Le Courrier de L’Ouest in France, the 29-year-old is currently in France meeting the Angers board ahead of a potential transfer back to Ligue 1 where he made a name for himself in the first place.
The French newspaper state Oniangué will likely be loaned for the rest of the season, at a club fighting for survival needing all the help it can get.
On the plus side, the transfer shouldn’t be a shock for him, since the midfielder already knows Angers quite well, having spent a season on loan there from Rennes during the 2009-10 campaign.
Never really fitting in at Wolves, Oniangué has only ever made 11 appearances for the Championship leaders, all coming in late 2016 before he was shipped off on loan to Bastia last January.
