Alfred N’Diaye is edging closer to becoming a permanent Wolves signing, explain Spanish newspaper Marca. In their Saturday edition, on the Villarreal club page, Marca go through the money Villarreal expect to bring in over the next few months.

The club have just agreed to sell Bakambu to a Chinese Super League outfit and it will bring in a big €40m to the Spanish side.

N’Diaye will add to that as long as Wolves secure promotion to the Premier League, and he features in 25 matches. Not too far away from that figure, N’Diaye will cost Wolves a pre-agreed €9m for the permanent transfer.

Should Wolves’ season somehow fall to pieces and they remain in the Championship for the next campaign, then N’Diaye’s loan will end and the English club will be asked to pay €2.5m for the period he’s been there.

A lot of Wolves summer transfer business will obviously depend on which division they find themselves, with further spending expected if Premier League promotion is achieved as expected.
