Following reports that a new offer had made its way from Torino to West Ham United for Nikola Vlasic, there is hope a deal can get done.

It was said that the Hammers could give an answer over the weekend or at the latest at the beginning of next week, but Tuttosport, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, reckon they know what the response will be.

It’s stated that the €10m + €2m on bonuses, of which €500k are easy, will not be enough, but the distance between the Italians and West Ham is narrowing.

The Hammers, faced with a player who has no intention of playing for them again, have had to ‘give up part’ of their request, which is why the owner, David Sullivan, is now trying to get ‘at least €12m’ as a fixed part from any transfer.

Therefore, that means that the ‘real distance’ between the two clubs is around €1.5m, which is clearly not all that much in the grand scheme of things.

That’s why there’s a belief that ‘substantial news’ could arrive ‘in the coming hours’, perhaps finally putting an end to a story that has gone on for nearly a year now.
