West Ham United have reportedly made a move for AZ Alkmaar midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.

The information doesn’t come from the Netherlands, but actually from the Italian media, where Sport Italia features an exclusive story on this pursuit.

The local press is interested in Reijnders because AC Milan are interested in him, and now it seems the Rossoneri will face the competition from West Ham.

Sport Italia’s report claims that in the past few days, the Hammers made an ‘in-depth enquiry’ for the 24-year-old.

The report still makes it clear that Milan and West Ham aren’t the only battling for Reijnders, as there are other clubs who expressed their interest in the player.

For now, there’s no information on how much AZ Alkmaar demand for his move, or even how much the Hammers would put on the table for his signing.

The midfielder is actually very well protected by the Dutch club with a contract until 2027, as he signed his last extension in January this year.

His valuation on Transfermarkt had a huge increase in the past few months, and currently stands at €14m.
