West Ham United are interested in a move for Cádiz striker Anthony Lozano as their hunt for a replacement for Sebastien Haller continues.
That’s what Goal Spain report today, stating that the Hammers have turned their attention to Lozano after failing to get Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla.
West Ham are desperately scouring the market for a replacement for Haller after electing to sell him to Ajax earlier this month.
That’s left them with just Michail Antonio upfront, and David Moyes has confirmed he wants another player, particularly one who can add pace, in the position.
That has seen them turn their attention elsewhere according to Goal, who say that one of the names to appear on the radar is Cádiz’s Lozano.
They state that West Ham believe the player could be an ‘interesting signing’ for the project they are building and, although they are yet to make a formal bid, they are ‘studying the possibility’ of doing so.
Cádiz, for their part, are reluctant to part with Lozano, who has three goals and two assists in 18 games in all competitions this season, but sources close to the club have confirmed an offer close to €10m would leave them with no choice but to accept.
