West Ham United are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen, according to a report focusing on Juventus interest.

Last season, the left-back was on loan at Burnley, where he managed four goals and six assists from 42 games. He’s found it hard to get regular time with the Blues this season, clocking in 83 minutes from six league games.

Tutto Juve now state Maatsen’s situation at Chelsea hasn’t stopped him from drawing attention from the likes of West Ham, Juventus and others.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been credited with interest in the 21-year-old and the report states the Hammers are now added to the list, along with the Serie A side and Manchester City.

David Moyes’ side have moved into the picture for the Netherlands international and could challenge top clubs for his signature in the upcoming windows.

The Dutchman has also been used in midfield by Mauricio Pochettino this season and his versatility could please the interested parties. In addition to this, his contract situation would also favour them for a potential deal as his current deal expires in 2024.

Even though Maatsen is on the agenda of several clubs, there’s no clarity on his future plans just yet.
