Yeni Asir claim Arsenal are still keen on signing Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, with the Turkish newspaper saying ‘Wenger is almost obsessed’ in his pursuit of the player.
The Turkey international has yet to extend his contract with Besiktas meaning he’s now free to talk with foreign clubs with regards to signing a precontract agreement.
It’s reported the 24 year old is being closely followed by Arsene Wenger, and Arsenal will soon make an offer for him.
The Turkish international is set to lead his team out at the Allianz Arena next week in the Champions League against Bayern Munich, and he’ll be hoping to impress his former Arsenal boss against the German giants.
