Nice have to work out the future of Mario Balotelli in the winter transfer window, with the player’s standing at the club breaking down in recent weeks.
L’Equipe report on Wednesday that they may also have to deal with the departure of Adrien Tameze, who is generating interest in the Premier League.
There’s quite a specific claim about Watford, with the French newspaper saying the Hornets have ‘commissioned agents’ to try and find out the possibility of signing the 24 year old in January.
Tameze is a regular for Nice, mainly playing as a central midfielder, and Watford are looking at the parameters of a potential winter market offer.
Cardiff City have also relayed their interest, according to the claims, and are ready to make a €10m offer for the player.
Exchanges have taken place between Cardiff and Nice, but a transfer isn’t presented as close.
Tameze isn’t desperate to leave, and manager Patrick Vieira hasn’t hidden his admiration for the player.
