The trouble involving Standard Liege and Wolverhampton fans in Portugal continues to get a lot of attention from the local media.

There are a couple of stories in newspapers such as Record today, showing the damage that groups of supporters caused in the city of Porto.

Standard Liege are facing Vitória de Guimarães while Wolves are playing Braga in the Europa League tonight, and now the local police are working to avoid further problems.

Record says that despite help from Belgium and English police, the strategy couldn’t predict or prevent  the ‘high concentration of hooligans’ which caused problems on Wednesday morning.

A new story on O Jogo’s website brings some information as well. They cover an official statement from local police saying there have been no arrests so far, and the fights have actually been happening in several places in the city, and were bigger than initially thought.

It’s also reported that no fans were taken to hospital, despite previous reports claiming otherwise.
