Tottenham ‘step up efforts’ to sign 21-goal star – Spurs serious, crucial few weeks ahead as effort begins

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise’s Mohamed Amoura is on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar, according to Fennec Football.

The striker has impressed for the Jupiler Pro League side this season, scoring 21 goals and registering five assists from 35 games.

Amoura’s fine displays have seen Tottenham take notice and they have sent their scouts to Belgium to take a closer look at him.

Union Saint-Gilloise suffered a 3-0 defeat, but the report states that didn’t ‘dampen’ the north London club’s interest in the Algeria international. Ange Postecoglou’s side are of the belief he could be a valuable addition due to his age and international experience.

Fennec Football state the next few weeks ‘could be crucial’, as Tottenham look to finalise a potential deal for the frontman.

The website claims the player is valued at around €10m and currently earns €306,800 per year. Spurs should not have an issue to meet his asking price and also improving his salary.
