On Thursday, Tottenham Hotspur accepted Bayern Munich’s improved bid for Harry Kane.

Later that day, Bild journalist Christian Falk reported about a disagreement between Spurs and the striker over the transfer, leaving the Bundesliga winners ‘puzzled’. Since then, claims from England and Germany have stated the 30-year-old has agreed to join Bayern.

Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg states the Tottenham star has ‘approved the move’.

He adds the England international will travel to Munich today to undergo medical tests and sign a deal until 2027. In fact, Kane wants the deal wrapped up soon so that he can make his Bayern debut against RB Leipzig on Saturday.

Plettenberg again took to Twitter to state the striker is on his way to the airport in London to fly to Munich and Bayern are waiting for him.

There has been a new development in the ongoing saga.

According to the journalist, Spurs are ‘currently hindering the move and have revoked Kane’s permission to fly’.

Plettenberg makes no mention of Tottenham’s reason for doing this but explains that Kane is waiting ‘every second in the car’ to receive permission from Spurs to make a trip to Munich.
