Reports from the Italian media continue to talk about Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
It’s now outlet Calcio Mercato who claims La Viola could still finalise a few arrivals and departures in the last days of the transfer window, and the 25-year-old is one of those who could be on their way out.
The Serie A side ‘intend to let go’ of either Amrabat or Erick Pulgar, and both could end up leaving if ‘two extremely convincing offers arrive’.
Calcio Mercato says the Moroccan could move on a loan deal, perhaps paid for, with a right for a permanent deal. It’s just not detailed how advanced the talks with Spurs currently stand.
Earlier today, we’d seen Tutto Mercato Web reporting Tottenham’s offer for Amrabat as well. They claimed Spurs would pay €1.5m for the loan, with a buying option of €15m.
That report, however, also claimed that this signing would depend on Tanguy Ndombele’s departure from the London side.
Should Tottenham want to make sure they get a good deal for Amrabat, and don’t have to pay over the odds, then they need to hurry and get it done before a club seriously arrives for Pulgar.
