Tottenham Hotspur are about to sign Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent deal, according to reports from Italy.

Sport Italia writes that as Juventus start sorting the list of players who are leaving their squad this summer, the 23-year-old is on the verge of an exit.

It’s claimed that the Old Lady is ‘one step away’ from finalising the sale of Kulusevski, who ‘will be bought’ by Tottenham.

There are no details on how much Spurs are spending on the signing, as they’ve been trying to get a discount on the buying option.

On Friday morning, reports from Italy had already claimed that Tottenham were preparing an official offer for the transfer. It was claimed they were about to offer around €30m, giving them a reasonable discount on the €35m clause, but not a big drop in relative terms.

In reality, Tottenham will have likely been trying for less, and the figures of a final deal may indicate that.

Loaned by Juventus at the start of the season, Kulusevski made 37 appearances for Tottenham, with two goals and eight assists which were enough to convince the club to invest in keeping him.
