Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa have been linked with Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode in the past.

While Aston Villa had a low offer rejected in the summer transfer window, the other clubs were encouraged to move for the Italian, who has played only five times in the Serie A this season.

FirenzeViola today have stated that Newcastle, Tottenham and Aston Villa had offers rejected in the summer and even Arsenal had scouted the defender multiple times towards the end of last season.

Fiorentina have reportedly set a price tag of €30m and interested clubs haven’t come close to offering this.

Due to a lack of game time this season, the 20-year-old is considering his future at La Viola and the club could offload him in the next window.

The feeling is that Fiorentina’s asking price has now halved to about €15m and there is still interest from England.

Spurs, Newcastle and Aston Villa are not specifically mentioned but the idea of Kayode’s exit is pushed forward and an offer from England is encouraged.

There is also interest in Serie A and if the right offer arrives, Fiorentina could sell the youngster.
