While there has been a lot of talk of Tottenham’s interest in Samuel Iling-Junior over the past few months, it’s all calmed down a bit of late.

That could be due to Ange Postecoglou making it clear he wants a centre-back to come in January, but the desire to sign the Juventus player hasn’t disappeared.

That’s what TV Play are reporting on Monday, looking at some of the move the Serie A side could be negotiating, including one with Tottenham for the 20-year-old.

They explain an exit for Iling-Junior ‘cannot be ruled out’, as he isn’t playing that much as Max Allegri prefers the likes of Filip Kostic and Andrea Cambiaso.

Therefore, Iling-Junior is ‘attracted by the idea of changing air soon’, where he could head off on a ‘new adventure elsewhere’, perhaps in London.

Tottenham are reportedly ‘considering making an official bid’ for the Englishman, and it’s believed that Juventus could ‘get more than €20m’ for him in the next transfer window, which is seen as ‘not a bad sum’.

One to keep an eye on then, especially as we all know things can move quickly ahead of transfer windows, regardless of what is on Postecoglou’s Christmas list.
