Leeds United are keen on signing Juventus’ Weston McKennie in the winter market and there have been multiple updates on this topic in the last few hours.

Earlier on Wednesday, Sky Italia reported the midfielder has said yes to the Whites and they have to convince the Serie A side to let go of him.

This claim was backed up by Calciomercato, who added his agent is in London to know more about the Premier League side’s offer.

Tuttosport then came out with a report explaining Leeds have moved concretely to negotiate with the Turin club to buy the player, who is valued at €30m.

Calciomercato.it journalist Alessio Lento took to Twitter provide a new development on this case.

He claims that at the moment, ‘there is distance’ between Jesse Marsch’s side and the Old Lady over a deal for the USMNT midfielder.

Sources from the Premier League club insist they are still ‘far off’, likely from meeting Juve’s demands for the former Schalke man.

Lento adds that ‘talks continue’ between the two clubs and this should give Leeds fans some hope in their club’s attempts to sign McKennie in January.
