Rodrigo De Paul continues to be strongly linked with a move away from Udinese, and Leeds United continue to be put in the picture by the Italian sport media.
Liverpool have seen several links to the player in recent months, yet it’s Marcelo Bielsa’s side who have been the Premier League club most frequently and strongly linked in Italy.
There’s also been talk of Atletico Madrid taking an interest, with Juventus and other Serie A sides though to be in the running.
JuveLive take a look at the situation, and their theme is that Udinese aren’t budging one bit. According to the report, Leeds United submitted a €28m offer last summer and were quickly rebuffed by De Paul’s club.
That’s because they’ll only seriously listen to offers around €40m, and their stance is ‘take it or leave it’, with them clearly not being keen to negotiate much lower for the Argentine.
De Paul’s future is likely to be the subject of increased rumours in the coming months, and Leeds United surely know what they need to do to get the player.
