Turkiye Gazetesi report Fenerbahce are interested in signing Huddersfield Town defender Mathias ‘Zanka’ Jørgensen ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkish side are likely to be in the market for a defender with Martin Skrtel and Roman Neustadter expected to leave at the end of the season.
According to Turkiye, Fenerbahce have identified Zanka as a target and the Super Lig side will soon open transfer talks for the player.
Fener were linked with a move for the 29 year old last summer and it seems their interest has now returned.
Zanka made 25 appearances for Huddersfield Town in all competitions during the last campaign, scoring three goals
He is under contract with the West Yorkshire club until June 2020 and subsequently they may be under pressure to sell him this summer to get a decent transfer fee.
