SabahSpor say Sunderland are set to play hardball with Jeremain Lens because of past comments. Yesterday there were claims Fenerbahce had come to an agreement to sign the Sunderland attacker, but this may not be the case.

Sabah have reported the Sunderland board are angered by Lens’ comments, and as a result they are not going make things easy for their player in the summer. Sabah say Sunderland are ready to make life very miserable for Lens, and they are going to sell him to the highest bidder this summer.

The Dutch international earlier in the season made comments about a Sunderland relegation making a transfer easier. Sunderland manager David Moyes blasted his antics by saying: ”This is totally unacceptable.”

It’s also been claimed Lens has informed Sunderland about his desire to continue with lensFenerbahçe, but Sunderland are said to have told him they’re open to offers and aren’t considering a loan at the moment.

With 7 goals and 14 assists, Lens is regarded as one of Fenerbahçe’s standout players this season. The Dutch winger is loved by the club and fans, but remaining with Fenerbahce could be under threat.
