The big battle for RB Salzburg striker Erling Håland is explained today by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, who as usual say Juventus have some advantages in the race for the player.

The newspaper says the 19-year-old has rejected a move to the Old Lady before, but would now accept to join the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.

However, the Serie A giants would need to move fast, because the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig would all be keen on the signing as well.

It’s it would cost €30m to sign Haaland in January, due to a clause in his contract, although other figures have been reported elsewhere. This would be a good opportunity because he’d be a lot more expensive in the summer, when as written by Tuttosport, his price could get to €100m.

The problem is the striker would demand a salary of €8m per season. Tuttosport says Juventus would have the player’s agent Mino Raiola by their side, since they’ve had a good relationship with him for years.

The Old Lady’s advantage in signing Europe’s big talents is always highlighted by Tuttosport, but we better wait and see if they are really leading the race in this case.

Manchester United and Bundesliga clubs have been repeatedly presented as likelier by the Austrian, German and Norwegian media.
