Manchester United are on a great run in the Premier League, winning their last four matches in the competition.

Erik ten Hag seems to be getting his ideas across and his signings have had a big impact already. Antony made his debut against Arsenal on Sunday, and was a big part of the 3-1 victory over the league leaders, scoring the opening goal.

Wim Kieft, a former Netherlands international and now a prominent pundit in the Dutch media, has questioned Ten Hag’s decision to leave Cristiano Ronaldo out of his starting line-up.

He added: “Is he on the bench because he’s so bad, or has he become such a (we’ll block this word out, but it’s the common phrase for male genitalia)?”

Soccer News are certain Kieft is referring to Ten Hag there, not Ronaldo. It’s a strange attack given how well things are currently going for the Manchester United manager.
