Pierre-Michel Lasogga has finally agreed to spend a year on loan at Leeds United, according to various reports from the German media.
Lasogga is this week on his second visit to Leeds, with claims in Germany that he was deciding on the move.
Germany’s Kicker went out alone against that, and from the start said Lasogga had travelled to England to ‘advance’ his Leeds United move rather than simply think about it.
Regardless of whether Lasogga was thinking or advancing, it all seems done now.
Germany’s Sky, Bild, the country’s biggest selling newspaper, and the regional Hamburger Morgenpost are all confirming Lasogga will spend the next year in the Championship with Leeds United.
Hamburger Morgenpost say the agreement is ‘perfect’, which means everyone is in line rather than sharing an opinion on how good it is for HSV. Hamburg will continue to pay a percentage of the player’s salary for the period of the loan.
