With Abel Hernandez’s contract with Hull City getting close to the end, other clubs obviously start to show interest in landing him on a free transfer.
And as reported by Italian website Calcio Mercato this weekend, Fiorentina are the latest side who are keen on signing him next summer.
According to the outlet, the Serie A side trust the player’s international experience to quickly adapt to Italy, and are currently monitoring his situation at Hull City.
La Viola would not be the only Italian side interested in the player. Inter Milan are said to be interested too, and Calcio Mercato doesn’t rule out the possibility of other local clubs joining the battle.
Hernandez only has three appearances since the start of this season. Now after spending over six months recovering from an achilles tendon surgery, the Uruguayan international is getting fit to play again, having already featured for Hull City’s reserves.
This is very much shop window time, which could benefit Hull.
