Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Enso González has insisted he is not concerned about a lack of playing time at the club so far and knows his time to shine will come.
The Wolves youngster has been speaking to Versus in his homeland about his slow start to life at Molineux following a move in August.
He joined them in a €6m deal from Libertad, his first move outside of his homeland, where he had been with Libertad as a youngster before moving to the first team.
Yet to feature for Wolves first team since his arrival, he’s managed a handful of appearances for the U21s, with just three matches and 250 minutes under his belt so far.
It seems, though, that he is not concerned about the situation and is instead taking the matter step by step, the same was that compatriot Julio Enciso slowly made his way into Brighton’s first team.
“It was very difficult at the beginning, the pace cost me, the atmosphere, the weather,” he said.
“But I know that the road is long and everything in its time. It happened with Julio (Enciso), who had to wait a long time to debut, so I am calm.
“The first game with the Under 21 team, had a bit of a hard time, I played weakly. But then in the following games I adapted quickly and played well. The coach’s assistant usually goes to watch the games.
“I am aware that this is a long process, it is a process of adaptation. That keeps me calm, all in his time. I always say let it be what God wants.”
