Just two days ahead of Portugal’s World Cup quarter-finals match against Morocco, Manchester City defender Ruben Dias has missed their training session.

His absence in the workout was revealed by the national team’s official channels, claiming he was the only player not to take part in it, having stayed at the gym.

That’s what most outlets in the Portuguese media repeated, and that left a big doubt about the physical condition of the Manchester City player.

However, Zero Zero comes up to calm things down. They come up to say that at first, Dias’ absence in training is no ’cause for concern’.

The website claims that the Manchester City player has ‘no injuries’, and only stayed in the gym to do some ‘specific work’.

This is the first training session that Portugal’s starters have had since the win over Switzerland the week, as they now work ahead of the match against Morocco on Saturday.

Since Ruben Dias had been booked in the match against Uruguay in the group stage, he must careful not to get a suspension for a potential semifinal.
